Washing Baby Clothes???

Is it necessary to wash all baby clothes?
If so why and how long will you wash them before they wear them? What age will you stop?

Definitely needs to be washed. All clothing should be washed before wearing it, no matter how old you are! The manufacturing process is not as clean as you’d like to think. Lots of chemicals and yucky stuff you don’t want your skin to absorb...

You should always wash clothes before wearing them, baby or not! Chemicals, germs, and dirt have a million chances to cling to your clothes before you get them home. After working in retail I will never not wash my clothes first, no matter how much I love that new clothes smell

I would say yes because you always see people in the stores touching all the clothes and everything and you don't know where their hands have been

Yes! Because of chemicals and let’s not forget germs! People cough into their hands and touch everything. I wash all clothes before wearing because I’ve worked in retail. People have come to shop after a jog or gym sweaty and try on clothes 😅. No thank you. People forget that clothes get tried on by who knows how many people or what kind of people.

Yes, their skin is not ready to be exposed to chemicals we wash our clothing with. They can get sick from new clothes as they have chemicals sprayed on them. You need to wash them in an allergen and chemical free blend to make sure that they are fresh. How long- i did mine 3 weeks ago for her and put them in her drawers. Hope that helps!
