Eczema?

Does this look like eczema? I took him in a few weeks ago and the ped thought it was heat rash. Now it's just spreading everywhere!! He's itching so much and it breaks my heart ☹ I think I'm going to take him back in. We did an oatmeal bath last night which seemed to help, so I did another one tonight along with a milk bath. Thoughts?

Yes, looks like eczema to me. Dairy can cause flare ups like this too unfortunately. Try hydrocortisone cream, and baby Eucerin for eczema. Mustela is awesome too, they make special soaps.

Looks like eczema. Bathe as infrequently as possible, Mustella Steatopia line for eczema (lotion and bath cream for sure) and use the lotion twice a day. My little guy has terrible eczema and steroid ointments plus the Mustella line have been the best thing for us.

Wheat and dairy have anecdotal evidence on impacting eczema. If he’s EBF at home with you try limiting it in your diet and for days he’s at the sitters goats milk formula is apparently close to breast milk in composition and can help with skin flare ups. 
Try Dr Bronners baby unscented soap and a bit of colloidal silver in his bath water 😊

Update: It was eczema. He was SCREAMING and scratching last night, so of course I took him in. We are doing hydrocortisone (1%) twice a day, then once it's absorbed, coating him in Vaseline. We will do this for a week, then go for a follow up.

It could be an allergic reaction to your detergent too. Are you using a hypoallergenic one?
