Opk close to positive?

Question

Ahhhh! My husband isn’t home for a week and my test got so much darker today! I’m only CD 9. In new to this, is it common to get close to a positive then have it fade, then get a positive later? 
I’m really hoping we don’t miss ovulation this month!

Answer

Mine don’t follow a progression, they get darker and lighter and darker again before they get positive. So it’s definitely possible that you could still have plenty of time!
