Is or Did your blood pressure rise after stopping baby aspirin daily?

Question

So, since 16 weeks my doctor had me taking 81 mg baby aspirin to hope to keep away preclampsia. Today I am offically 37 weeks and stopped taking aspirin yesterday.
My question is has anyone done this and noticed and immediate rise in blood pressure.  I used to get 110/60 now im about 130/70 and only one day off the pill. Yikes. If this did happen to you what were your experiences?

My doctor told me to keep taking it up until birth, so I can’t tell you if it made it go up or not.

I would keep taking it if I were you! I was reading the research on this the other day and it works best when taken from 16 weeks up until birth. There was no evidence of it causing postpartum hemorrhage or other dangerous risks by continuing up until birth. If that’s why your doctor advised you to stop then I’d have a look at the new research for yourself and have a talk to your doctor about continuing! Good luck xx

Yeah I missed 3 days in a row and noticed my pressure go up and swelling in my hands, feet and legs and waking up with headaches. I end up starting it again, that kind of concerned me.

I stopped taking it at 37 weeks, and it was because in case of c section they don’t want you to bleed so heavily since it thins your blood. But the doctor did say it takes about 24 hours to get it fully out of your system. My blood pressure elevated a little bit but not too bad.
