After being in two extremely toxic and abusive relationships where I was lied to, cheated on, manipulated, humiliated, and taken advantage of, I have finally found the one who truly understands me and my feelings.

My boyfriend texted me letting me know he was going to go get drinks with his friends. To some of you, this may just be a regular occurrence and don’t think much of it. But, for me, it means the absolute world to me that he lets me know he’s going to drink with friends, that he will be safe, and let me know when he gets home safely. I did not ask him to do this. He knows everything I’ve been through and takes that and my feelings into account.

I have really bad anxiety and depression, and he knows how anxious I can get sometimes during these situations because unfortunately due to my past relationships I have emotional and mental scars that love to mess with my head sometimes.

I am just truly grateful and blessed to have him in my life. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, kind, loving and selfless man I have ever met. I have full trust in him no matter where he goes and what he does.

I just wanted to share this with you all. None of you may even care to read this. But, this means absolutely everything to me, and I had to let the world know how grateful I am for the love of my life and all he does for me.
