how has an iud i got mine recently on the 9th of january and gosh ive had my period since they put it in its annoying ots like when she put it in it triggered my period to come is that normal the doctor did say ill see spotting but she never said a period right after

I bled for 3 months straight after mine and now I spot almost daily 🙄 hate this thing and can’t wait to get it taken out

I got mine 8 weeks pp and bleed out what seemed for years. But it was really 3 weeks or so. And then ever since then It was just spotting. It does get better with time.

I had the IUD for about 3 years. I bled for the first year. It would stop for like 2 weeks at most and then I would start bleeding again for months. After that year I only had a few till all the bleeding went away

I got and IUD after my first pregnancy and I bled for 6 months straight before they finally agreed to remove it! I would never recommend an iud to anyone
