No. That’s not how that works. If you skip to placebo week then you give your body the ability to ovulate and therefore you aren’t protected. If you don’t want your period during a certain week, finish your current active pills then instead of taking the placebo week, just start the next pack. That way you don’t have your period at all and you’re still protected

Not at all, you’re messing with your protection. It would be best to take all the active pills normally and then skip your placebo week entirely and go to the next pack. This is how you « skip » your period on birth control and the only safe way to do so. Every woman reacts differently to this and you may experience spotting or breakthrough bleeding anyway. Or you’ll be like me and it works like a charm. But skipping to your placebo week to get it earlier is a big no.
