I know a lot of you will probably tell me not to but I need some advice.
My daughter sleeps with me, today she's turned six months old. She wakes repeatedly through the night to nurse sometimes every hour. That wouldn't be a problem but it worries me because my milk is pure fat and it's caused her to be extremely chunky to the point that the doctor worries about her breathing and circulation because recently her feet have been turning purplish in certain sitting positions.
She won't nap long without me and I think it's because she's gassy. I can't always get all of the air out after she nurses. She has a good latch but she has a high pallet that keeps her from achieving an airtight seal. Anyway, I think if I can get her to sleep on her own for some of the night at least then she will stop nursing so much through the night. She has refused to sleep any other way and I'm so tired that I just give in after twenty minutes of struggling to calm her.
If anyone can give me some advice or tips I would really appreciate it.
Also, she absolutely refuses a binky and bottle.
