Hey ladies just a quick question I have my period every 28 days for 5 days and I ovulate every month and told by my doc that I have pcos has anyone had the same thing and gotten pregnant? I have been ttc for almost 7 years. I have done all test and my SO has done his sperm analysts which came back that his sperm is slow according to our gyno

Thanks beautiful ladies my doc has advised my SO to cut done on smoking and keep drinking a lot of water. I have been on Herbalife and have lost 5kg and my doc is very happy with that. Baby dust to all trying.

I'm surprised you have a very regular cycle and your doctor diagnosed you with PCOS. I know everyone is different but if you are ovulating every month, you like don't have PCOS.
I have PCOS and have very long cycles (40-50 days) if I have a period at all. I was on birth control since I was 18 to regulate my period. After 9 years on the pill, I was getting married so I decided to go off it in the hopes of getting pregnant soon after the wedding. It took 14 months but I conceived naturally on what was a 45 day cycle. I am expecting our first child this July.
So yes, it is definitely possible to get pregnant, even naturally, with PCOS. Stay healthy, stay hydrated, and keep up with your appointments. Don't be afraid to go to a fertility specialist who will confirm your diagnosis and help you get pregnant without too many invasive procedures. There's a lot out there for us women that don't include IVF. Good luck to you!

I have pcos and my cycles regulated and I ovulated every month, was able to conceive my daughter naturally in three months, idk if I was doing anything to help I had lost some weight prior to trying (husband was deployed so I had a lot of time to focus on myself and see if I could regulate on my own). Sorry I don’t have more advice, I was taking premama fertility supplements and other vitamins not sure if those helped or not.

Many women with PCOS go on to get pregnant naturally and have healthy pregnancies and babies. It’s definitely possible!
My guess would be that his slow sperm are causing the troubles, as male infertility counts for a lot. I have PCOS myself and have irregular cycles, but I also ovulate. When I was at a healthier weight than I am currently, I got pregnant very quickly (2 months, not actively trying) but lost it shortly after finding out. It’s been 2 years since with no luck, but I also gained weight which isn’t helping me.
For you, I don’t think your PCOS is going to be a fertility issue, as most women who have fertility troubles with PCOS have it because of irregular cycles or infrequent or no ovulation. Since that’s not the case for you, it shouldn’t be an issue.
In any case, as the other commenter suggested, continue to look into fertility specialists and ask your doctor what you and your SO can do to increase your chances, and what your next steps are.
