When to test

Question

I think I ovulated on the weekend of the 12th.. if I'm going by my CM anyways.. 
I haven't had a period since October so don't know when that would be due. 
Just wondering how long after ovulation should I do a test in the hope to see that line I desperately want?

You may need progesterone to induce a period. After quitting BC I had a 93 day anovulatory cycle. I had fertile CM on different occasions, but never in a predictable pattern. I had to visit my OBGYN to be prescribed the progesterone challenge to induce my period. The next cycle I did finally ovulate, but at 28 days. I had already called the doctor to refill my prescription and picked it up but something told me to give it a few more days before starting. I’m now in the tww!
Fingers crossed you did ovulate! But if not you may need to contact your doctor for progesterone to get things going. Using OPKs and charting BBT will really give you some insight on your cycles and if you are ovulating. Good luck!

If you haven't had a period in like 3 months I would go ahead and test.
