Newborn meeting family!

Okay so there’s a big get together with my in-laws side of the family... I just had my baby a couple of days ago and my mil demanded we come! Firstly, I’m exhausted... I just had a baby lol but whatever... secondly, is it bad that I’m not excited about her being passed around through all the relatives? I had kinda a hard labour, she was in the hospital extra due to non serious issues but still as a ftm it made me nervous! She wasn’t keep her body temp up, she passed poo while I was in labour so she breathed it in & then she became congested pretty bad...so she’s been on saline trying to help her be able to breath through her nose! Now that being said, she’s a new born and doesn’t have a built up immune system and I just said to my spouse I was going to bring the sanitizer bottle we have and politely ask for everyone to use it before holding her... and he says I am being over protective but I don’t feel like I am? She will be a week old and there’s going to be tons of people there, I would hate if she got sick and I knew I could’ve done more to prevent it.

Am I being over protective and overreacting about this? I mean I could of in turn said no, she’s not even a week old and I don’t feel comfortable bringing her to be passed around which I wanted but instead just use hand sanitizer... think that’s reasonable but idk it could just be me
