I am beyond happy. My father walked out when i was 2 years old and because of that i lost contact with my grandma grandma and all my aunts and uncles.

I even took a DNA test in hopes of finding my family but it was a dead end.

Then yesterday I'm scrolling through Facebook and i see my baby pictures as a women's "featured" photo on her page (meaning anyone who visits her page will see the picture) my heart literally DROPPED! I messaged her and she told me she put that picture there in hopes that someone would recognize me. She said she's prayed everyday for 20 years to find me. My heart is so full❤️❤️❤️ i will be visiting her this weekend

I also have 4 little brother's who have always asked for a sister and now their dreams are coming true🤣🙏 thank you God for opening the pathway to my grandma and family 🙏 i feel complete

Also my father is in jail but he truly has been turning his life around. He couldn't stop crying when he found out that i reconnected with his family. He always messed with drugs (never Violent crimes) and he has been battling this struggle for a while but my grandma told me that finding me lit up a light inside him that he promised to change his life around forever....that's a whole different situation tho...i am just blessed to be back with my grandma and family ❤️🙏

Update 1-25

Turns out i live an hour and half from my family!! My boyfriend and I will be going to visit them Saturday and Sunday, i get to finally meet my grandma and brothers😍🙏 I'll update with pictures when the weekend is over 😊 thank you so so much to everyone for the kind comments, i cry every time i come back and read them! This means the absolute world to me ❤️

i had an AMAZING DAY WITH MY FAMILY 😍❤️ my grandma literally came RUNNING at me and all my uncles and aunts were literally crying 😭 my little brother LOVES my boyfriend and we bonded SO well with everyone ❤️ GOD BLESS🙏here's some pics

UPDATE: I learned so much about my family today! My great grandma was a Native American and married another Native and they lived on a reservation in Virginia. My grandma was born and lived on the reservation until she was 17 than moved to New York & met my grandpa! She was actually born with a tribal name, Anamaniya, but goes by Violet now.

Wow i am blown away at how much love this post has gotten❤️ thank you SO much everyone, you have all made this experience even better for me!❤️ My mom and little sister (she has a different dad) live in another state and they are flying in to go see my grandma! My mom wants my sister to meet my brothers and grandma, she feels it's important for our huge, crazy family to all know and care for each other!
