Due date is tomorrow According to my date of ovulation. 1/28 if you go by LMP (but I always ovulate early in my cycle and was using OPKs.) And early dating ultrasound matched ovulation date.

Anyway I was checked yesterday and I’m only 1 cm dilated. This is my fourth baby and I always always always go past my due date, but dr is inducing me tomorrow due to gestational diabetes (not diagnosed till 34 weeks.)

I’m hoping for a VBAC (my 2 girls were delivered vaginally but my son ended up being an emergency c-section.) but since I haven’t dilated much and I’m being induced, my midwife said they will have to dilate me mechanically with a balloon??

I’ve never had this done in the past, does anyone have any experience with this? How is it different than when they use a pill to dilate you?

I’ve tried evening primrose oil and raspberry leaf tea, nipple stimulation etc but my cervix is stubborn. Team green here. I’m anxious to finally know the sex of my baby (I think boy) and just to not be pregnant anymore.
