I’m curious to know whether the first time moms had an episiotomy, natural tearing, or no tearing at all?

I’m 35 weeks pregnant and a first time mom and I’m really curious to know how did your natural birth ended.

I planned for a natural birth and it ended with a 5” incision on my bikini line. Just wanted to add that as a possible outcome🤷🏻‍♀️

Episiotomy, I'm so relieved they did decide to cut me as I couldnt for the life of me get my sons head out. Over an hour of pushing and as soon as I recieved the episiotomy he was out completely within 4 pushes. Wish they could of done it In the beginning, save me from all that pain lol.

2nd degree natural tear. Really not a big deal and healed just fine!

Everyone was so surprised I didn’t rip or tear. Nothing. I guess it really doesn’t matter how tiny of a person you are. I’m 5ft and was 160 pounds when I gave birth. 
I just went slow and doctor listened for me when I felt a contraction to push.

I went into labor at 39w1d, pushed 3 times. Had a first degree perineal tear and partial clitoris tear ): my son came out sunnyside up and really really fast

All 3 no problems  and 0 tears...  my first was almost 9lbs... I got an epidural and I think it helped me relax enough. Or I just have a stretchy vagina lol

Birth at 41+5 no tearing at all. Three days of labor and 15 minutes of pushing. Baby girl was out! 8lbs 0oz 21 inches

Birth at 34 wks, no tearing, but fractured my tailbone during labor.

Episiotomy, only took 8 pushes. I’m glad they cut me cuz little and my baby had a big head so if they would’ve let me do it naturally it would’ve taken longer and prolly been worse tearing.

I had the episiotomy and still tore 😬 but I had a large baby with a large head 😂
