Birthing ball during early pregnancy?

I have been doing research on using a birthing ball and lost of websites mention many women using them during early pregnancy.  I am 17 weeks today and now I am trying to decide if I should go ahead and get one.

I’m 17 weeks too and I have one! I’m part of a birthing class and one of the doctors went over the benefits of using one through pregnancy. Great for back pain!

Get one! You will get your moneys worth! You can use it to ease pregnancy pain, rocking your fussy baby to sleep, and pelvic strengthening exercises after the baby is born. It is so helpful!

I swear this is how I went early with my oldest lol. I started bouncing, rolling my hips, ect I believe at 7 or 8 months.. I would be on it at least a half hour every single day.
