Anybody active duty or reserves Air Force? I was told many years ago that you can get out of your contract in the Air Force while pregnant if that’s something you wanted to do it. When I had my son active duty I never wanted to do that so I never looked into it. Well I did my 4yrs activity duty I’m now reserves and have done a year and half, I have 2.5yrs left in my reserve contract. I’m now pregnant and my husband (he’s active duty) his contract is up in June and is going guard back home. The closest unit to back home is 3.5hrs away and when we will move home I’ll be 28 weeks along. I hate the idea of making that long of a travel by myself once a month for work. So I want to get out of my contract due to pregnancy. I found an article and my supervisor is trying to help me get out. I’m sure this is a long shot but does anybody know any afi that states this or what forms to fill out to get out of contract pregnant?
