I have been having bad intermittent to constant period cramps that hurt for about 4 weeks now since 27w. They are or aren't accompanied by contractions, it just depends. I went in to l&d at first and they gave me fluids and confirmed I was having contractions. They checked me for infection and it was negative so they sent me home telling me rest and fluids. Well rest and fluids have done nothing and this has been going on for weeks. My dr is really dismissive and says I have an irritable uterus and there's nothing they can do. Yesterday and today the cramps have been constant and so uncomfortable and painful it's making me nauseous. Nothing is helping. I feel so defeated and exhausted I don't have the energy to advocate for myself and I know I have to. I so don't want to go to the hospital but I know if I call they'll tell me to. Ugh. Everything. Pregnancy is hard.
