Nope. What’s the point in being a relationship if you can’t trust them enough that you feel the need to go through their phone? Having the password to the phone is a different story. I’m all for that but deliberately going through someone’s phone with the intention of trying to find something incriminating? Nah. We’re all entitled to privacy and the phone should be one of those things that we are entitled to keep private without feeling violated.

My boyfriend and I know each other’s passwords, but we don’t snoop. No point in it. And if it’s to the point that you don’t trust someone that much, maybe you shouldn’t be with them.

If I wanted to I could but I don't because I'm not paranoid.

We use each other's phones all the time usually without asking even. I wouldn't like it if he started going through everything on my phone in that time though. Have nothing to hide. But if there are conversations between a friend and I that I have expectations to remain between us, I don't think it's right for my spouse to just dig through them. Just as I respect his conversations with his brother and friends.

Realizing now that I wanted to vote that it depends rather than no 🤦🏻♀️ being that you trust your partner enough, there should be no reason you’re going through their phone in order to find something to make yourself a victim out of/find something to point fingers at. My boyfriend and I both have nothing to hide, we have each other’s phone passwords and often use each other’s phones without permission. This being said, it’s never with the intent to snoop/find something that might ruin the relationship, but rather for stupid shit/to look things up/play music when the other is busy, etc.

I mean it’s pretty controlling behavior to be looking through your partners phone. Why you gotta be aware of every single conversation he has with people or whatever? Trust should also be about not having to worry about that. That being said - my bf and I have each other’s passwords and I would have zero worries if he needed to use my phone for any reason. Same with him. But it doesn’t mean we’re gonna be snooping around

Nope. I have nothing to hide, but I don’t breach peoples privacy, I honestly would be ticked off but show him anyway. Although insecurity is not an attractive trait. Trust is a part of any healthy relationship, would like to think my partner would trust me.
