Was eating my salad I made, and I noticed this on one of the pieces of the spinach. This is store bought raw spinach.. what does that look like? Dirt? I feel so grossed out right now.. I ate some already but don’t think it had anything on them.. will I be okay?

It’s dirt. It won’t hurt you. I do suggest always washing greens though

Yes spinach comes from the ground. All fresh produce should be washed if you don’t want to eat dirt. 😂

It kinda does look like dirt but you’ll be fine. I always buy lettuce and never wash it and nothing happens to me

Mostly soil dear, else some might have "escargot" excretion, but thats y u shud make sure to always wash ur veggies, i like to wash the leaves one by one to make sure none of these stays on
