I bought a bedside sleeper/bassinet (the ones that almost attach to ur bed so that you can nurse easily at night etc) but even before taking it out of the box and building

It, I’m worried that it’ll be too low for my bed. Our bed is pretty high (the top of our mattress is like 27” off the floor) and I read the bassinet I bought at the highest setting, the mattress is 17” off the floor.

I’m debating maybe removing our box springs in hopes of lowering our bed.

Or if it’s kept that way is that even safe/ok? Anyone had to deal with that??
