Never use the carseat attachment. It's unsafe for a baby to be in that position for long. Otherwise I think the pram to pushchair systems are great.

We used the car seat in the car until he was 6 months, and he could’ve been longer if he weren’t so heavy (didn’t reach the limit I just didn’t want to carry it anymore). My sister has the same system I do and she still uses the stroller for my almost 3 year old nephew. As long as you are using the car seat with the system it is supposed to be with, you can use the car seat attached to the stroller. They are made to be at the proper angle.
