Possible chemical :-(

Hi Ladies, bit of advice, I got a vvvfl yesterday on a FRER, tested again today vfl today but had more colour to it (more pink). Got all excited that it had happened and couldn't stop smiling all day. When I went to the bathroom at 4pm at work, wiped and noted red/pink blood, pressed harder and it was definitely there. Put a tampon in thinking that was it, chemical, and my period was coming. Took the tampon out when I got home and half 5, small amount on it. However now, 2 hours later there's nothing at all. Nothing when I wipe or press harder. Could I still be pregnant? I'm just trying to cling to anything, slight cramping so I know I've lost it but there's nothing else there now, feel like I'm just waiting for my period to start. Any one had anything similar?

Should probably add, I'm 13dpo and period is due tomorrow.
