I plan on not going public about this pregnancy until I’m about 10 weeks along, but I want to tell my kids ages 8, 6, and 3. Even though they’re kids and kids have big mouths, we don’t really interact with very many people right now so even if they spilled it would probably just be to teachers at school/classmates and I don’t care about that lol. Now that we finally verified the heartbeat I want to tell my older kids. Even if it doesn’t turn out to be a successful pregnancy since I’m only 6 weeks now, I think that could also be a teaching moment for them too, to show how normal and common those types of things are especially since I have two girls already and they will be women one day. Thoughts? (They’ve been begging me to have a new baby for a year!)
