We have a 1.5 yo husky. He has never been destructive but ever since we brought home our little one, he hasn’t received as much attention as he’s used to. So he’s started ripping up papers we leave on the table and playing with things he knows are not his.

Tonight has been the worst. He jumped onto our bed chewing on the pillow that came with our little one’s activity mat. Ok, understandable, it kind of looks like his toys. So we took that away and he comes back chewing on my husband’s winter glove. So we take that away and I find him in the nursery, chewing on a bib!

What can we do? I feel so bad that he’s obviously feeling neglected, but taking care of a newborn doesn’t leave a ton of time to play with him. I thought he was pretty good at entertaining himself, but he’s obviously feeling left out.

Anyone have experience with this? Will our dog get used to it?
