I've known a couple of boys named max also!! Im not sure their lengthened names but they were very fitting. I love the name. yes, you'll come across some people who say it's a dog name but I just think the dogs got a people name lol
Maximus and Maxwell are my favorite long versions of the name!!

I used to think that. But my husband wanted it because it was his grandpa’s name. Now, I can’t imagine any other name. I love it for a boy and it’s not too popular!

My son will be named Maxemiliano because of our Hispanic roots but his nickname will be Max and I’m okay with that, everyone’s pets have people names now a days soo 🤷🏻‍♀️

These days 90% of people name their dogs with human names. Don’t think it will be a problem the other way around. If not I’m screwed because the girl name I like is the name of my SO’s aunt’s cat (and idgaf)

I grew up with a dog named Max, so for me personally I’ve never heard it as anything else and that’s just automatically what my mind goes to.

Honestly love it. We were so set on archer but now it’s either archer or max. I feel like max is so fitting for our family. My two daughters are Hazel and Lorelei. Hazel Lorelei and max just makes me smile 😀 gotta convince my man tho 🤣
