There are so many questions I’ve had about different things like accuracy of weight checks, cervical exams, unnecessary inductions, the different shots babies get, laboring positions etc.

A lot of what I’ve found is random blogs with peoples opinions and no data to back them up. Then, I found the Evidence Based Birth website which is founded by a healthcare professional and does literature reviews to look at what research says about all kinds of birth related stuff. It’s so helpful to have found a pretty unbiased, fact based place to educate myself about pregnancy and delivery. It’s helped me to figure out what I want for my birth plan. I thought I would share with all of you too.
