Growing attraction or instant?

What’s your thoughts on growing an attraction to someone? Like years later you finally realize “ wow he’s cute and smart, I kinda like him” or does it have to be instant for you to really like someone?

Answer

I met my husband online and when I met him in person he was shorter than I thought and just didn’t seem like my type after I met him. We had talked for 2 months before meeting so I knew we had things in common and I loved talking to him. It took a year for me to be physically attracted to him. We got married last year and are having our first baby in May. So attraction isn’t always instant. Ours wasn’t and I couldn’t be more in love with my husband ❤️❤️

It doesn’t have to be immediate but in my experience that person you know is attractive to you immediately and then when you get to know them and aren’t turned off by their personality and their personality makes you like them more, that’s a keeper lol. but it definitely can happen the other way where you become good friends and really like their personality and then you begin to think they’re attractive physically later
