Did they make you take your rings off for your surgery? My hands are swollen and I really don’t want to have to cut my wedding band off.

They made me remove my earrings and wedding ring before going into my C-section.

I had a planned c section and in my directions it specifically said remove all jewelry including earrings and rings. Thank god it did because my post surgery swelling was astronomical and they probably would have had to been cut off after the surgery.

Mine was planned and I had to remove all jewelry apart from wedding ring.  They just put a bandage round them x

I had an emergency one and kept all my jewelry on- wedding rings and nose stud. If it’s planned they might have you remove though

Yes. They will make you take off all jewelry. In case of the worst case scenario where you may have to be schocked, jewelry can be dangerous.

I didn't have to. The only jewelry I had to.remove was my toung piercing. I did take my ring off just incase tho bc my hands swell on and off.
