Baby Formula

So I know all babies are different but I have a question.. my 5 (almost 6) month old eats about 7 ounces 8 times a day. I Googled and saw that babies his age are typically eating 8 ounces 4 times a day.. by that math he is eating 56 ounces a day; while the average for other babies is 32 ounces a day. So he's eating about 20 more ounces than a baby his age. Is this normal? *I should note that my son is tall, but at average weight. At his last appointment, his height was in the 90-something percentile. ***EDIT: I have kept up with his feedings exactly today, and so far he has had 33oz.. he is going to bed in about an hour so he will have his last 7oz then. So today he will have had 40oz.
