Should I invite him

My daughter turned 2 on the 23rd of January and on the 26th i’m having a birthday party for her. My question is should I invite her dad? We broke up because he needed “space” from being a dad for a couple of weeks (which it has been). He was asking to see her for her birthday which I mean on one hand he told me to my face that he needed a break from being a dad which isn’t right, but on the other hand, I want my daughter to have a family, or at least parents that get along. I won’t lie, I still love him but it just hurt that after 2 years he needed a break from our daughter. Should I still invite him for my daughters sake? Idk I want to be the better person but i’m also still hurt :/
