(For those who have done it)

How did you get through not being around them so much?

My SO and I are moving to a new city but living separately for a while but still in a relationship.

He asked me to move in with him when we were friends because I had gotten out of an DV situation and needed somewhere to go and we ended up falling in love. So we never got to do that living separately and going on dates thing and texting all the time etc and we have mental health issues we want to work on together as we live separately. I’m all for this idea. But I know it will be hard getting used to it at first.

We will see each other all the time but not being next to each other in bed every night is going to be very hard for a while.

Please no judgement as that is the last thing I need and what works for one couple may not work for others so I don’t need anyone telling me it’s not a good idea or whatever
