Hi lovely ladies! Me and my husband are “working” on getting pregnant with our first. We’ve talked about baby names pretty much since we first started dating!

My husband LOVES the name “Apricity” and I love the middle name Joy. I love the meaning of the word apricity but I’m worried about how it’d sound used as a first name. Apricity is an old English word that is now in disuse and it means “the warmth of the sun in winter”.

Now since English is not my first language (but it is hubby’s) it’s hard for me to truly judge how Apricity would sound if we decided to use it for a girl.

What do you think?

I really like Emily Joy too, but I see my husband’s point about Apricity Joy, because like I said I do really like the meaning of the word.
