Crazy..
My turn to post finally :). My twins were born vaginally at 38+1, with B being assisted breech. I needed stitches and the recovery was rough.
Lil Miss decided to come 4 days early on Jan 21. We went to the hospital after crazy intense back labor for 2 hrs. I thought we'd be sent to home to wait it out, but surprise I was already at a 6 at 1:00 am. We were admitted and I asked for an epidural. The anesthesiologist was the worst. W he had to try 4 times to get it in. I tried to relax for a while, at 4 I called the nurse and said I felt a lot of pressure, she checked and I was a 9. At 415 the pressure was getting hard not to push. I called again. She came and I was a 10. She said do a practice push and I did and she told me to stop to wait on the Dr. My body took over and Kenzie was born at 4:27 without my trying to push. The Dr was just walking in the door. No tears, no stitiches. This recovery had been a piece of cake so far compared to her Bros.
