A little back story, so I have 2 kids (8 year old girl & 7 year old boy on Jan 28) in June 2012 a few months after my son was born I was offered the depo provera shot as BC. I took ONE shot because it made me sooo sick I lost so much weight. In October 2012 I decided against birth control and told my dr I was wanting another baby within the next year, he said ‘okay no more bc let the shot come out of your system and could take 6 months’ I said perfect. I tried for months and nothing. After the 6 months I went back and said hey nothings happening what’s wrong with me? He told me it was normal and that I stopped ovulating. He offered me 1 dose of clomid, didn’t do any testing to see if it was helping me ovulate and guess what? Nothing happened. Talked to him again and he didn’t seem to take me serious as I was only 21 at the time with 2 kids already. I got married in May 2015(not the father of the 2 kids I already have)I’ve been trying since then and had one pregnancy in July 2016, I miscarried and haven’t been pregnant again since. I finally got the courage to look for another dr and I have my appointment with her on February 12, 2019. I’m Soooooo excited ladies! I’m finally on my journey to get on track with my reproductive health and hopefully give my husband a child of his own. I can’t tell anyone but my husband so I thought I’d tell y’all!
