Thoughts on new moms group?

I don’t know very many moms of babies in my area but the hospital that I delivered at holds a new mom’s group once a week. Has anyone attended these and felt they were beneficial? I’m torn about if it’s something that would be beneficial for us to go to or not...

I’ve been to a Mothers Meet Up class at my hospital where they did weighed feedings and it was incredibly beneficial! They weigh the baby, you breastfeed baby and then they get weighted again and you can see exactly how many ounces they ate!

Wont hurt to try it, if you hate it no big deal, but maybe you'll make some new friends. I've never been to any of those but I know 2 women who go to 2 seperate groups and enjoy it (their kids are 2ish now so theyve been going for a while.)
