Hemorrhoids or?

Question

So I’ve had hard BMs lately & this time there was a small speck of blood when I wiped back there. Someone on here mentioned a while back that blood back there may be hemorrhoids, as long as I’m not bleeding vaginally, it’s okay.
Is this a sign of hemorrhoids or did I just push too hard? 👀🤦🏽‍♀️

You could have a small tear in your rectum from having hard poop as well. As long as it's not dark blood and it's not coming from your vagina you should be OK. Take a stool softener to help. I like to start taking them at least a few weeks before I'm due if not before simply because it makes that first BM after birth less traumatic. If you continue to see blood I would just bring it up to your doctor so you can make sure it's not something you need to treat before labor and delivery
