I have a weird spot on the back of my throat that is extremely painful and I don’t know what it is? It popped up a few days ago.

That looks like a bad canker sore. I’m sorry those things are hellish

I had that and it was the start of strep throat. Could be a canker sore though and it'll just go away but wouldn't hurt to get tested for strep.

Try gargling warm salt water, that should take the pain away and help clean the area. 
Like others have said it could be a canker sore, strep or something else that you don’t want back there! 
It popping and draining is a good thing, keep it clean and also buy a new toothbrush or rinse yours with alcohol after each use until the sore is gone so you’re not spreading infection.
