I've talked to my fiance so many times and it's as if he doesn't grasp what I'm saying. our son is 6 weeks old now and he's maybe changed 5 diapers total, burped him a handful of times rocked him to sleep a couple times has never given him a bath he only holds him if I put our son in his arms other than that he just talks to him while he's laying down and in a good mood. He has watched him while I take a nap but that's only because our son sleeps so we'll in his swing and as soon as he wakes up he wakes me up to get him which I know our son is hungry but I don't know how to get him to understand I need him to help more.. like when I say he needs his diaper changed then change it don't wait 30 mins and when I come back in wonder why I'm pissy he is still in a wet diaper cause when I say that I'm telling you to do it. sometimes I ask him to change the diaper and when I come back in he's still just holding him still in his wet diaper. I don't know how to tell him to be a father without being a total bitch but I'm at the end of my rope I'm pissed and he wonders why my doctor is telling me I'm showing signs of post partum depression.
