Ahhhhh life decisions 😱😬🤷🏼‍♀️

So my husband finally got his work card. I’m having the baby soon so it is crucial he finds a job ASAP!

Well the last month has been stressful... barely any responses from employers other than the one we received that is 4 hours away. It’s an option, but we wanted to stay in our area close to family. Now all of a sudden he has offers and interview requests coming left and right! It’s honestly a bit overwhelming and we are having a difficult time deciding what is best. But TRUST ME, we are very grateful that we no longer have to stress about him finding a job in time.

So I’m going to go ahead and ask for some unbiased opinions on the matter. Keep in mind my husband is a chef.

The current options (other than the option 4 hours away) :

55,000/yr + bonus structure and no benefits, restaurant is smaller, only open for dinner, and closed Mondays

OR

80,000/yr + benefits, restaurant is large, more responsibility, open everyday for lunch and dinner - so more hours at work

Any opinions? (I also will be returning to work in the fall but only bring in $3000 a month after tax)
