Some women have,other women haven't. 
I have stage 1, I had laparoscopic surgery to remove the endo and I got pregnant 6 months later

I had stage three. Only found out bc a cyst burst and I was in enormous pain.  Got laparoscopic surgery 7 years ago to remove two large cysts. Was on the pill until we decided to TTC three years ago. Got pregnant the first cycle, miscarried at 8w. Got pregnant again after four cycles, had a healthy baby boy who is now almost 2. TTC baby 2 for five cycles, now 26+4.
