Bite their baby's nails when they fall asleep? I used the clippers once and knicked him and felt so bad. I'll stick to biting them lol

I know a lot that do but I use cuticle trimmers instead. They’re a lot less bulky than the nail clippers and I have WAY more control. Plus they’re sharper so it’s a really quick and clean process.

I do! My son loves it, I do it while I nurse him (as he stick his hands in my mouth anyways) he always starts smiling it laughing it’s so cute but if I go for the clippers if war so I don’t bother

I’ve always been nervous about cutting babies nails. But I found the best thing to use. A nail trimmer/baby manicure set on Amazon. It comes in a case and has a head for different ages up to about 6 months, 6-12 months, 18 months and up and even a couple adult heads. It doesn’t spin too fast or hard for a baby. Works perfect and she doesn’t have a fit when I use it on her. She is 7 weeks old. They have different ones on Amazon prices vary between $8-$30 or so. I got a $13 one and no complaints. Wish I had it when I had my 16 year old. And before that we were using the FridaBaby Nail File it’s a little thicker than the ones that come in the hygiene kits and you can actually hold onto it and you can actually use it multiple times.

Nope, I use the clippers and have yet to cut them. I'm just really patient while doing it so I don't hurt them. Four kids later (10-7mos) and I have yet to bite their nails.

Nope makes me more nervous, I have a 4 and 2 yr old and have never knocked them while clipping their nails. That's just me tho and we all do things our own way, you do what makes you comfortable 😊

Totally normal! I’ve done it a couple times! My husband is really good at trimming his nails so I don’t mess with it all that much. I just leave it up to him but nah, totally normal! You’re a good momma!
