Those apps don't provide any true or realistic results. Its just your own heartbeat. And yes, you can hear / feel / pick up your own heartbeat or pulse in your vagina. Especially more so when pregnant due to extra blood flow down there.

Sorry to say but these apps won’t work and it doesn’t matter that you are farther along or not! A doctors fetal Doppler can’t even pick up babies heart rate until at the earliest 9 weeks. It is disappointing for everyone to tell you this but it’s better to have the knowledge than believe in a lie.

I work in ultrasound. The fetal heart isn’t fully developed yet.. so you probably can’t hear it

Doctors don’t even use the Doppler until you’re between 10-12 weeks. Ever wondered why they don’t give dating ultrasounds until 8-10 weeks, because your due date could be behind and who wouldn’t freak out seeing an empty sac, let alone use a Doppler and not be able to find the heartbeat. But it happens.. the ladies on here aren’t being harsh but honest with you. You’re pregnant so congrats, be happy, I wouldn’t base my happiness off a Iphone app that I heard are fake anyways. Women tend to get dopplers and freak themselves out when they can’t find the heartbeat or think everything is okay just because there is a heartbeat on the Doppler. Don’t rely on it and don’t shoot other folks down for giving you honest feedback, no one is telling you not to celebrate your pregnancy but that these apps don’t work. And you likely wouldn’t pick up the babies heartbeat as an untrained individual especially on a cellphone especially at 5 weeks.

Btw they actually send you recordings of other babies heartbeat to make u think it’s your baby... they should get shit down !
