I just started taking my blood on my own. Why? Because my Dr didn't schedule me an apt with a diabetes specialist till two weeks after being diagnosed. Their advice in the mean time just keep eating what you have been. Sorry but that's unacceptable to me.

So I got my glucose test set up and took my blood after dinner after an hr. It was 102. What difference would it make if I take it 1 vs 2 hrs?

I'm going to test it in 2 hrs this time cause I was starving so I had some cereal. I want to see the difference between meat and vegetables for dinner and carbs.
