so the other day I matched with a guy on tinder and followed each other on instagram right away. we immediately noticed that we had mutuals— friends who live overseas. we started talking and it turns out that our families are from the same hometown & we’ve made the same friends from our visits there. anyways, we met today and went out for lunch because he works a late afternoon shift. we had great conversations and laughed a lot, told each other stories and joked about how our parents probably knew each other growing up. at the end, he payed the bill and walked me to my car.

after a bit more small talk in the parking lot, we both said that we had a great time. he hugged me goodbye and gave a kiss on each cheek (it’s a traditional thing in our culture so it wasn’t romantically involved). he didn’t try to actually kiss me or anything which I found sweet but also as a shock compared to all the guys I’ve ever gone out with. immediately after though, he asked if I would wanna go over to his place tonight after he gets home from work at 10pm (I’m 19 and he’s 22 but lives with his sister only).

basically I just want to hear what you guys think his intentions are. like at first I thought he was being sweet and not wanting to rush into things by making out when we just met. on the other hand, we did find each on tinder and he asked me to come by his place really late. should I assume he just wants to hookup? or that he actually likes me for more than just sex?
