I’ll be 37+1 at my next appointment. I have had a check at my last two, but both because of reasons—first time, baby had dropped since my last appointment, and second time, I’d had a day with a bunch of contractions and doc was curious if they did anything. Now my mom says they WILL be checking me every week and acted like I was crazy for wondering why? You can go from nothing to baby within a couple days, or be a little progressed for weeks before baby, so what purpose does knowing really have before you’re actually in labor? Anyway, I got a little side tracked there. In y’all’s experience, do they check you every week from here on out, or no, or do they if they have reason to? If they do check every week, do you know why?
