I need some advice, I work in a predominantly male environment with the military, but I am having issues at work with my female coworkers, I am 28 and blonde and work my ass off, I have received outstanding performance evaluations, I have done nothing but excel in my environment. Now there’s these 2 older women in their Late 40’s who have gone out of their way to avoid any and all eye contact, to not say a single word to me. To never look in my direction. I just got my immediate supervisor (the only person who has advocated for me) removed and placed under the woman who has verbally assaulted me, shouted profanity at me on numerous occasions and told all of the other co workers, that she is trying to push me out of there. The man in charged response was because I am a woman and I can’t have a male supervisor because there have been rumors of me and him having sex. Unsubstantiated rumors who no one claims. Which obviously isn’t true. Then the woman who is supposed to be my supervisor is basically getting away with all of her mistreatments. And the other woman with the issues who claims I sexually harassed her with my smile gets to win. I don’t know what to do. I am working with my union, and I had to take medical leave without pay due to my “mental breakdown” because I am severely experiencing such PTSD and emotional distress from the situation. This is a sexism claim, harassment and retaliation in the workplace. I just had to vent because I’ve spent the past 5 days crying.
