Has anyone experienced clumps of formula with similac brand ?

Only when I don't shake it well enough. We got a formula mixing pitcher for when we are at home and it prevents the foam and clumps. You just keep it in the fridge and pour a bottle when ready.

Same here. We got the Dr. Browns mixing pitcher to prevent this. I make a pitcher in the morning or evening it stays good for 24 hours in the fridge. This way it’s nice and dissolved by feeding time. (About 10 mins. after pitcher is made) Just a quick 20 second microwave and good stir w/ spoon so no hot spots and it’s ready to give little one. 
If we’re going to be leaving I pack a few bottles with an small ice pack in the diaper bag. I’ll also bring hot water in an thermos and a cup. When it’s bottle time I pour hot water in the cup put in the bottle and it’s warm in maybe 2 minutes and ready to give. 
If I forgot to bring the hot water I’ll swing by a coffee shop, gas station, fast food, they all have hot water.

From what I read it's either because the water is too cold mixing it (I literally have the water sit out all day). Or they recommend not putting multiple scoops in at a time, rather do one scoop, mix and then another scoop and so on. I personally can't do that because I'm always multitasking and will forget if it was one scoop, two or three. So I do the multiple scoop but I will try and give it a twirl in between scoops. If all else fails I'll use a butter knife to get rid of the clumps. Super annoying!

Yes I do sometimes. I started using those baby spoons to mix it well instead of shaking it. Seemed to work for me.
