I had my baby!
So my February baby is a January baby, which I knew would happen. I went into the OB for my check up and my blood pressure was 167/94. I was kinda having some issues with it but not this bad. So I was sent to family birthing to be induced. It was slow at first but at 2 am I started to really feel it. By this time I was 4 cm. This is when my water broke which actually felt good. About 3 am I decided I wanted to use the labor tub. It didn't last long. U got really hot because of the magnesium they gave me for my blood pressure makes you feel hot. Labored a little longer before I was begging for an epidural! I was 7 cm. It took the anesthesiologist 30 min to come in. By then I was fully dilated. I had a contraction and felt her coming out and I yelled, " she's coming"! The nurse says no you have time. I swung my legs on the bed and she says " oh I see the head, not push!" How can I not push! I couldn't help it. My body did it for me. The nurse barely had time to get gloves on and my little girl was delivered by nurse Janice.
She was born January 22 at 4:54 am.
We had some time in the nicu because of temp issues and high antibodies. We all got to go home today.
Although she wasn't very happy about the car seat at first. We are all happy and healthy and life couldn't be better.💓
