False positive?

Any way progesterone causes a false positive? My last dose was a week ago and I’ve been waiting to get my period so I can do the clomid challenge. Got a positive pregnancy test this morning. Don’t want to get my hopes up!

I think it’s a good sign. I had a recent experience where the doctors office told me my urine sample came back positive (though it was impossible as I had my period) BUT they needed to take a blood test the next morning. In the meantime two other tests came back negative. Blood work eventually were negative . But if you check again or get blood work then you can be sure things are looking good:)
