No finding out the gender

My baby shower is tomorrow and the amount of people upset with me for not doing a gender reveal is hysterical! I choose a woodland creature ( mostly fox) theme for everything and I'm getting so many rude people that it's not fair if I have a girl they are going to grow up confused. I have been informed that choosing a unisex name Jamie along with the neutral themes is a form of child abuse. Where do people get these ideas??? I honestly think it's hysterical how upset people are about this.

I'm not raising them gender neutral but right now I don't want to know what I'm having life doesn't have many surprises left and I want to enjoy this one. I just don't see the point of once the kid is born keeping with the Boys are blue and red Girls must be pink and purple mentality. I'm a tomboy my nature and my family has always been disapproving of that fact with me.
